The program is structured into three parts:
- Elective courses (20 credits): Modules 1 and 2.
- Compulsory course (4 credits): Module 3.
- Research or professional practice placement (12 credits)
- Master’s Thesis (24 credits)

Elective courses offered in the academic year and course guides
University of Girona
Placement institutions
Each student (or group of students, in the case of several students undertaking their placement at the same institution) is assigned a tutor, with whom they must meet every two weeks to monitor the work carried out during the placement and the corresponding report. The aim is to distinguish between different methodological perspectives for conducting a research project on cultural practices linked to the arts and to design educational and training materials (in digital and analog formats) related to visual arts.
Monthly group sessions are held to share research methodologies on practices and discursive experiences related to visual arts and education, and to manage training projects related to visual arts and education in different institutional and community settings.
