The accreditation of expertise is based on the institutions and organizations to which candidates belong. Three main groups are established:<\/p>\n<p>1. University Faculty from the three campuses of the Master\u2019s programme and other Spanish universities. Faculty members in this category must hold a doctoral degree and demonstrate:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Expert knowledge in a thematic area relevant to the programme and essential for achieving its competencies.<\/li>\n<li>A strong research trajectory, evidenced by officially recognized \u201csexenios\u201d (six-year research periods) granted by CNEAI.<\/li>\n<li>Proven teaching excellence, innovation, and relevance to the Master\u2019s competencies, typically recognized through teaching evaluations (quinquenios) awarded by Spanish universities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Due to current labour precarity in the Spanish university system, contractual category cannot be considered a reliable indicator of quality. Since contractual category is linked to eligibility for teaching and research evaluation, this Master\u2019s programme also accepts other forms of accreditation, including research specialization, publications, innovation projects, mobility, or methodological expertise. Otherwise, foreign or non-university faculty would be unfairly advantaged.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. University Faculty from foreign institutions. Selection is based on their expertise and the national or international prestige demonstrated by:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Expertise in areas relevant to the Master\u2019s programme.<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding research record, demonstrated by institutional prestige, publications, funded projects, awards, and participation in research groups.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive and innovative teaching experience in prestigious institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. Professionals from institutions and companies. Professionals are selected based on their proven experience in prominent institutions or companies related to visual arts and education.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Profile and assignment of external practice supervisors and master\u2019s thesis supervisors<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Supervisors are selected based on postgraduate teaching experience, experience supervising doctoral theses and Master&#8217;s theses, or, in exceptional cases, recognized expertise in a specific thematic area. Most thesis supervisors belong to one of the three campuses of the Master\u2019s programme and have demonstrated this experience. <strong>The assignment of supervisors<\/strong> is based on three criteria: thematic\/methodological alignment between the student\u2019s proposal and the supervisor\u2019s research, the institution where the internship takes place (benefiting from professional networks), and the pedagogical strengths of the faculty member.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Teaching coordination. <\/strong>Faculty members are committed to coordinating their teaching with the rest of the programme\u2019s academic activities. They must integrate content, methods, and project proposals with the Master\u2019s general framework, promote student participation in associated projects, and contribute to the visibility of student work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Coordination with the faculty responsible for each course occurs at least at three points:<br \/>\n(1) planning the academic calendar and aligning courses with the CAM\u2019s methodological guidelines;<br \/>\n(2) receiving information about enrolled students and requesting classroom or material needs;<br \/>\n(3) delivering final evaluations and submitting official grade reports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Faculty profile. <\/strong>All faculty members teaching in this Master\u2019s programme have been selected among the most highly recognized experts at national and international levels. They must deliver their courses following the methodological framework of the programme, aligned with CAM\u2019s guidelines and CSGIC\u2019s recommendations.
