Actions promoted by the Academic Committee together with the internship coordination team to ensure proper implementation and effective monitoring

The master’s coordination has established a stable system for the development of external internships, ensuring fluid communication between academic tutors, external supervisors, and students. The main goal is to ensure coherence between the activities carried out in the collaborating centres and the competencies established in the verified Programme Report.

  1. Assignment of academic and external tutors

    • Completed at the beginning of the academic year through specific meetings.
    • Distribution is based on thematic affinity, teaching load, and previous experience.
    • A balance is maintained between the number of students per tutor and the actual availability of centres.
  2. Initial joint meeting

    • The coordination team convenes a start-of-year meeting with academic and external tutors.
    • The regulations, calendar, monitoring methodology, and evaluation system are explained.
    • Internship guides and report templates are provided.
  3. Monitoring of internship development

    • Carried out through periodic tutorials and incident tracking.
    • Academic tutors maintain direct contact with external supervisors.
    • The coordination team provides a specific communication channel (institutional email and Moodle) for questions and monitoring.
  4. Consistency in evaluation

    • A shared rubric and common evaluation criteria are used by all tutors.
    • Grades are based on performance reports, monitoring, and the final report.
    • Evaluation ensures that students acquire the required academic and professional competencies.
  5. Final internship report

    • Students must submit a final report following a standard template.
    • A joint review by the coordinator and tutors ensures consistency in evaluation criteria.
  6. Assessment and improvement

    • A monitoring report is produced at the end of each academic year.
    • Improvement proposals are collected from external and academic tutors.
    • The conclusions are incorporated into the Master’s Improvement Plan.
